Richard Reed
Congregational Care Pastor
Richard began serving as Congregational Care Pastor in March of 2020. He has been a member at First Baptist since 1980 serving as a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon during much of that time.
He was born and raised in Panola County and graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Agricultural Education. He worked half his career in a gas processing plant and the last half was teaching Agriculture Science in high schools. He is now retired. He and his wife, Terri, were married in 1976 and have three children: Dan, Allen, and Rachel. He enjoys reaching out to members with spiritual needs they have.
